7 Wire Prestressed Concrete Strands

7-wire prestressing steel strand consists of six outer wires helically wound around a high-strength central wire. This structure provides high tensile capacity and low relaxation properties, while improving bond with concrete and enabling more efficient load transfer. It is widely used in bridges and viaducts, precast concrete elements, post-tensioned structural systems, industrial structures, and ground anchoring applications.

It is generally produced in diameters ranging from 9.3 to 17.8 mm and tensile strength classes of 1770–1860 MPa. Depending on project requirements, it can be supplied as plain, galvanized, or HDPE-coated, offering suitable solutions for different corrosion protection needs and service conditions.
